Jo is tenacious and rigorous, She has an excellent sense of product direction, good instincts, and a natural hunger to learn. She is also just an absolute pleasure to work with! The input that she gives is always interesting and she is equally amazing as active listening. Jo is always willing to jump in and solve big hairy problems. She always speaks her mind, and we hope she never, ever loses that quality. She’s wicked smart and has a keen intuition.‍

Jo is an amazing designer to work with. Her feedback during meetings and 1:1s is always appreciated and thoughtful. The way she breaks down problems and pushes for improvements to the user experience has been great to see. She's been such a great addition to the design team!‍

Jo is always up for a new challenge - and for Japanese food. Jo's capabilities to take in complex information and rule sets and translate it to a seamless user experience with fun designs make her great to work with. Thanks to Jo's advocacy to bring Signal into the app, various empty states are now not only informative but also fun!

Jo’s passion for user experience and her attention to detail is an incredible combination!
Due to a shorted internship cycle (four weeks of remote work), we were hopeful that she could create a research plan, perform some user interviews, and provide her insights. She exceeded everyone’s expectations by not only executing her research plan, but by also creating a set of detailed wireframes informed by the research. She focused both on creating the right product for her users, and creating an easy-to-use, clean UI. Her final presentation to leadership was riveting, and we are all excited to continue the great work that she started.

Jo made a huge impact during her internship at GE. She jumped right in asking lots of questions to understand the problem and the goals of the project. She showed excellent attention to detail when documenting insights from the user interviews and creating requirements for a new tool we are developing. She even went above and beyond, creating full prototypes for multiple personas including thorough design notes. The assets she was able to create with the team during her short time with us at GE Healthcare was amazing.
